Message on Flooding in Libya

September 12, 2023

Our thoughts go out to the communities in Libya who have been impacted by the devastating flooding and heavy rains.

A vigil will be held on Monday, September 18 at 7:00 p.m. in front of the Women’s Table on Cross Campus.

While Yale does not currently host any students or scholars who are citizens of Libya, in this time of crisis our hearts are with those in our community of Libyan descent or with ties to the country. Assistance is available through the departments and links in this message.

Yale has resources in place to aid the campus community in times of tragedy like the current one.

If you have been directly affected by the flooding in Libya and need assistance from the university, please contact Ozan Say, Director of OISS at (203) 432-2305.
